Adding bird suet and suet feeders are a highly effective method of bringing more birds to your yard, especially during the winter.  The birds need the fat from the suet to keep their body temperature high.  The suet is replacing the decline of insects during the winter.  Nectar for the orioles and hummingbirds is critical as there are not flowers and natural nectar during the winter.  Purchased formulas make it easy to feed you birds  Keep a large quantity on hand so you will never run out.  Hungry birds will find another yard to go to!
