Duncraft’s Squirrel-Proof Selective Bird Feeder has a cage around the feeding tube that is wide enough to keep gray squirrels, grackles and starling from being able to reach the seed! The cage creates a sanctuary for songbirds. Duncraft’s Heavnguard fencing creates a barrier that holds back squirrels far enough way that they can’t reach the seed and has openings too small for large birds such as pigeons or grackles to enter. The fencing provides a perching area for several birds to feed at the same time. Wire base lets bird seed spills fall to the ground. With no seed build up on the base the squirrels will not have any reason to hang around the feeder. The feeding cap has a lock that prevents it from being lifted up by the squirrels and an easy to clean base. The all metal fencing is plastic coated to make it corrosion resistant.
