A wood predator protector with a solid copper plate screwed to it prevents squirrels and woodpeckers from enlarging the hole, or even worse reaching the bluebirds inside! An elevated mesh floor helps to protects young chicks from Blowflies. The Ultimate Bluebird House is constructed of long lasting cedar wood using Zinc Chromate plated screws that provide a more sturdy, longer lasting house than one assembled with nails, and brass hinges.
